Goddess Flow For November
Happy month of November.
You may have heard the news! I recently got engaged to my best friend and partner of five and a half years. While I love zodiac signs, I try and always take them lightly for the sake of not getting to caught up in what the horoscope says… Yet this month I couldn’t help it, it was a full moon in Taurus(my sun sign), during scorpio season on my fiancee birthday! I mean how fun, to play in this energy, and feel it all without holding back, because ultimately its up to us to set our intentions, believe it, have faith and let go.
So what did this full moon bring you ?
For me it was all about the goddess energy, trusting the masculine and letting my feminine flow!
Lets Begin
Start In Downward Facing Dog
Inhale
Tri Pada Adho Mukha Svanasana
Reach your right leg up and press your heart back towards your left upper thigh.
Exhale
Bring your right knee across your body to touch your left elbow, making a connection as you feel your core ignite!
Inhale
Camatkarasana
Take your right leg and flip your dog, there’s not right or wrong way to do this, feel into your left foot as it helps lift your mid back and open your heart as your right hand reaches up over your head for an additional stretch full of sensation.
Exhale
Ashta Chandrasana
Step your right foot through and option to reach your arms up or keep them down by your hips. Notice the stretch in your front hips as you press into your back left toes, feeling the sensation of opposites. Sinking down into the thighs, and lifting up through the torso. A belly stretch is the best!
Exhale
Virabhadrasana II
Swivel your back left heel down and gently lean into your right thigh as you feel your yogi muscles ignite. Arms are lifted, chest is open and gaze is focusing past your right finger tips.
*option pull up and in your pelvic floor muscles also known as your mule bandha to notice the strength of your low back with this sacred activation.
Inhale
Utkata Konasana
Open to the long edge of your mat like a giant star, toes point out to the corners of your mat, and heart is big here!
Exhale
Sink low into your hips, press into your heels or option to come onto your toes.
Arms can float up over your head for a playful symbol, or keep them wide. You are the goddess here, what’s your fullest expression?
Inhale
Parivrtta Ardha Chandrasana
Rotate towards the back of your mat, start by lifting your back right leg, and then find a subtle rotation in your upper body as you reach your left arm up towards the sky. Option to have the gaze follow your left fingertips.
Exhale/Inhale
Parivrtta natarajasana
Catch your back right foot with your left hand, inhale rise up bringing your right arm out in front of you. Press into your front left foot to help with balance, lean in as you focus your gaze out in front of you. Balancing the opposites.
